It all began when I saw cake stands made from vintage plates at a market and fell in love with them and had to have one. But fell out of love with them when I saw the price. So I decided to make my own and that’s how it all started. Once I made one, I made many and decided to dish out the delights by offering them at affordable prices. I love the foraging to find these timeless treasures, matching them up and making them into platters that matter. And the tiered platters extended to creating vintage book lamps, colander and tea pot lamps, Bird Feeders made from crockery, cutlery and tea cups and there's much more (www.facebook.com/NovelTea Vintage). And the foraging for vintage plates turned to tea cups and teapots, silverware and all that is beauteaful!
